To paint on silk scarves that have not been chemically treated, you can use our edding 4500 textile markers and edding 4600 textile pens. If you have a sample piece of silk, try out the colour and flow of the ink to make sure the end result will be how you want it.

After application, set your design by ironing once on the reverse without steam. It will then be wash-resistant up to 60°C (but make sure you don’t exceed the maximum recommended wash temperature for silk).
