I am considering painting ready-painted wooden cupboard doors (not solid) with edding 5200 permanent spray. Does the surface need to be sanded or rubbed down first?
Any surface that’s already painted needs to be sanded and primed to ensure maximum adhesion properties. Use our edding universal primer for this, then apply the paint and, for long-lasting protection, finish off by sealing with edding clear lacquer.
