How do you paint chrome parts with edding permanent spray?
Painting chrome parts is invariably difficult, but if you still wish to paint chrome parts, they must first be cleaned and sanded – as with any other type of painting. Next, apply a coat of edding 5200 permanent spray universal primer. Once the primer is dry, you can paint over it with the acrylic paint. As the chrome parts are more often than not vehicle parts, we recommend using acrylic or nitro combination paints. Even if the parts are sanded, the level of adhesion for chrome is not comparable with the level for standard metal substrates.
