No, this will probably not work. The edding gloss paint marker is suitable for writing on smooth surfaces. Writing on rough surfaces will damage the tip of the marker. Nor is durability guaranteed on rusty surfaces. For writing on rusty metal, we recommend the edding 950 industrial paste marker, a marker with a wax-like tip that can be screwed out.
