The edding 1340 brush pen can be blended with water before it dries. You have various options for creating a TEST effect:

• Apply the ink to the paper with the edding 1340 brush pen. Before it dries, use a wet brush to get a TEST wash effect, or blend colours for a graded wash.
• Another idea is to paint on a clear plastic document sleeve in 2 or 3 colours with the edding 1340 brush pen. Carefully place the design face down on the wetted TEST paper and run your fingers over the sleeve to help spread the ink. Remove the sleeve and when the paper is dry your TEST picture is finished!
