We are working on continuously reducing our emissions in production. In 2014, we introduced an energy management system in accordance with DIN ISO 50001, which obliges us to continuously reduce our consumption and emissions. By using post-consumer recycled material for edding EcoLine permanent, whiteboard and flipchart markers, we achieve an annual saving of around 126 tonnes of CO2 compared to so-called "virgin material" from fossil resources.

In the year 2022, for the first time, we had all sites of the edding Group assessed in terms of their CO2 emissions. We decided not to compensate for these emissions, but to invest the corresponding amount in our own projects in order to reduce our emissions even further.
