The ink of the edding 4090 chalk marker is suitable for smooth and pore-free surfaces. The coloured pigments in the ink have the property of having microscopically fine barbs that like to anchor themselves in textile fibres. Customers have also returned an alcohol-based glass cleaner for cleaning from textiles. We recommend multiple treatments with a smooth sponge, water and a lot of patience to get the pigments out.
