All paper types offered for painting purpose can be used. However, this is very much depending on the product you use (a broader nib will always result in higher soaking of paper), as well as the technique (multiple layers intended?) and the very own painting style (increased pressure on nib opens the valve system and results in ink flow). If very thin paper is used, curls may occur. So please make sure that you always use a suitable base when using very thin paper. The performance on dark material depends on the opacity grade as indicated on each colour, e.g. telemagenta declared as opaque colour works very good on dark surfaces whereas neon yellow as a more transparent colour works better on a rather light material or needs to be applied in multiple layers.
